SPACETIDE 2026

The European Space Policy Institute (ESPI) will take part in SPACETIDE 2026, the Asia-Pacific region’s leading commercial space conference, held in Tokyo from 6-9 July 2026. João Falcão-Serra, Lead on Industry and Finance, and Marco Aliberti, Associate Director of International Engagement, Partnerships & Education, will represent ESPI at the conference.

This marks ESPI’s first participation in SPACETIDE since signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the organisation in January 2026, formalising cooperation on international dialogue around the space economy, space policy and governance.

Our team will join the following sessions and side events:

  • 7 July: What Should a Government-Industry-Academia Commercial Space Platform for APAC Look Like?
    • 16:20–17:10 (João Falcão-Serra, moderator)
  • 9 July: Variable Geometries in Space: Europe-Asia Pathways to Strength and Resilience (ESPI Side Event)
    • 09:30–12:30, Vision Center Tokyo Toranomon (T-LITE), (João Falcão-Serra, Marco Aliberti)
