Building on its commitment to support the European space education ecosystem as outlined in “ESPI2040: Space for Prosperity, Peace and Future Generations“, the European Space Policy Institute (ESPI) is happy to announce that it has joined the SPACE4GEO Large-scale Skills Partnership, under the European Commission’s Pact for Skills initiative.
ESPI acknowledges that the space sector’s workforce, a key cornerstone in supporting the sector’s rapid technological and structural evolution needs, must constantly evolve and adapt to meet these needs. ESPI also acknowledges the essential cooperative nature of this task. As such, ESPI is excited to contribute to SPACE4GEO’s objective – the promotion of activities that aim to up-skill and re-skill the space workforce and to attract new talents to careers in the downstream space and geo-information sectors – by leveraging its expertise as an education provider, and in the monitoring, fostering and supporting of space education policy development.
