Launching ESPI Space Pulse: a recurring sentiment survey for the European space sector

The European Space Policy Institute (ESPI) is launching ESPI Space Pulse, a new sentiment survey capturing the priorities, challenges and confidence levels of the European space ecosystem, including industry and public institutions.

Space Pulse moves beyond a one-off snapshot to a wave-based, longitudinal asset. Over time it will offer:

  • a comprehensive overview of the drivers and disruptors shaping the European space ecosystem
  • insight into how emerging technologies are influencing the sector’s trajectory
  • ongoing visibility into leaders’ expectations for the sector’s future development
  • timely, reactive views into how unexpected events affect the space sector
  • a holistic picture of emerging themes and topics

The survey also tracks European space autonomy and competitiveness, with results segmented by employee size, sector and country. Findings will inform ESPI’s own research, feed into a dedicated product report and, ultimately, help inform policy at ESA, the EU and national governments with data-driven insights.

Who can take part

Individuals working or studying within the European space sector are invited to contribute.

How it works

The survey takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete. It is independent, anonymous and confidential: it is not affiliated with any commercial or sales activity, and no response can be traced back to an individual.

What you get

Participants can request the aggregated benchmark report once the analysis is complete. Full results will also be published and made publicly available.
