Vision and Rationale

Since July 2025, ESPI holds a privileged status of Quasi-International Organisation, opening recruitment opportunities for candidates from beyond the EU and providing additional benefits to its employees, including tax-exempt salary.

At a time when independent critical thinking and advocacy for European values are under threat globally, and when prosperity, peace and the future of generations to come are at risk, Europe is stepping up to take its future in its own hands, as a strong partner to the world.

Space has emerged as one of the transformative forces shaping our future, like the internet 30 years earlier and becoming part of the digital revolution driving our economies, as well as a critical enabler of security and defence and of foreign policy action.

As part of these dynamics, ESPI continues to advance its space policy agenda and plans to further expand its pool of experts, including in senior and experienced roles, through an international recruitment campaign.

This international recruitment campaign targets European, as well as international candidates, to join the ESPI team of more than 20 nationalities.

The campaign follows the 2025 recruitment campaign, which attracted more than 1,000 applications and further strengthened ESPI’s profile as an international workplace with 7 new hires.
