ESPI has partnered with Harvard Business School’s Institute for Business in Global Society and The Ownership Project to convene a series of seminars on Space Economics running between 16 September to 16 December 2025.
By partnering, ESPI and HBS are creating a transatlantic platform that connects economists, space practitioners, and policymakers from Europe, the US, and beyond. The seminar series will not only host cutting-edge research and practitioner insights but also nurture a new global community of scholars and experts. This community will be positioned to collaborate on research, analysis, and shaping international policy debates.
On the occasion of our Report, “Talent in the European Space Sector: Bridging Gaps, Building Futures” and in celebration of World Space Week, we hosted the webinar: Talent in the European Space Sector on 9 October 2025. The webinar discussed key findings and recommendations from the report, which investigates student and young professional perspectives, concerns, and needs for their future careers in the sector, and how these are matched (or not!) by what the space industry requires and provides.
